We serve wheat and buckwheat crêpes with fantastic fillings made on the premises from fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. Our locally made ice-cream is available to eat in or takeaway. We also bake all of our own cakes and make fresh scones every day which can be enjoyed as part of a classic Cumbrian cream tea.
Why not try a Cumbrian sausage crêpe with red onion marmalade for breakfast, or chicken, mushroom and thyme with a cream sauce for lunch? Or if you have a sweet tooth our chocoholic crêpe, filled with crumbled brownie and topped with home made chocolate sauce and whipped cream may be for you. And yes, for the traditionalist, we always have lemon and sugar on the menu.
Our chefs are constantly tempting us with new ideas for fillings, so our menu changes regularly according to the season and creative mood. All of our crêpes can be made with a wheat or buckwheat batter.
Tasting is believing when it comes to our ice cream made in Ulverston, Cumbria by the Handmade Ice Cream Company using thick double cream, whole free-range milk and not an additive or artificial flavouring in sight. The vanilla is flavoured with Madagascan vanilla pods and the gingerbread is made with real pieces of gingerbread. We also stock vegan choices.
Great in a cone, but even greater alongside one of our sweet crêpes. Or why not try one of our ice cream milk shakes?
